Sculpt Your Face with Our Fat-Dissolving Face Treatments

The fat-dissolving face treatment includes the use of fine needles. Minimal discomfort may be felt but we can apply a topical numbing agent before the treatment. It works by triggering an inflammatory response in the fat cells, which leads to their breakdown and absorption by the body.
After the treatment, you may experience significant swelling. This is due to the activation of the fat dissolution process. Due to this, you may consider taking some time off from work or social activities to manage the initial post-treatment appearance. Improvements can be observed after the first treatment. The most noticeable results will be seen at the end of the prescribed treatment course.

Fat Dissolving Face Injections

Fat Fat-dissolving injections are used to fix and remodel parts of the chin, jawline, and other areas of the lower face. The reshaping product contains Deoxycholic acid, which shapes the skin, Aesculus Hippocastanum, which reduces swelling, Equisetum Arvense, which helps wounds heal, and Ginkgo Biloba, which protects skin from damage caused by free radicals.

Side Effects

Common side effects with fat dissolving are generally connected with the treatment sites and surrounding areas. They usually resolve themselves within 3-5 days and we recommend patients taking it easy in the days following their treatments. Please note that all side effects must have fully resolved before further treatment can be performed. They include:
  • Swelling (a lot of swelling can occur)
  • Bruising
  • Soreness
  • Sensitivity to pressure and excessive warmth in injection site
  • Tight and itchy skin
Adverse reaction awareness: Pain and discharge are not normal. If you experience these please call the clinic immediately for advice.

After Care

Immediately after treatment you may notice some redness, swelling, tenderness and a painful sensation in the treated area, as well as numbness from the local anaesthetic.
  • Do not take aspirin, ibuprofen or Advil for two days after treatment –
  • AVOID them for 1 week prior to treatment.
  • AVOID swimming pools, extreme temperatures, spas and saunas for three days
  • Avoid physical exercise, except for walking for 10 days.
  • AVOID laser, cryolipolysis or radio frequency treatments for 14 days.
  • Do not apply makeup or skincare to the treated areas for 12 hours – and then only use a clean brush, sponge or glove for application until Day Five

Each patient is asked to schedule a complimentary review six weeks after the final treatment to confirm results. Results are permanent; however, maintenance applications are recommended every 2-3 months should you wish to maintain a specific appearance.

Fat-dissolving face treatment involves injecting a compound into targeted areas of the face to break down and reduce fat cells. This treatment enhances facial contours and reduces excess fat in areas such as under the chin and along the jawline.
Each session typically lasts between 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the area being treated and the specific needs of the patient.
Patients may experience a brief stinging sensation when the injections are administered. To minimise discomfort, a topical numbing cream can be applied before the treatment.
You will see initial results soon after the first treatment. More significant results will become apparent after completing all recommended sessions.
This treatment is ideal for individuals who are close to their ideal weight but struggle with localised fat deposits on their face that do not respond to diet or exercise. It is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
