Your treatment begins with a consultation where your doctor will assess the neck area, discuss your concerns and confirm suitability. Profhilo Neck is suitable for most adults, except those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Your doctor will plan the injection placement based on the specific characteristics of your skin and explain what you can realistically expect before any treatment begins.
On the day, a local anaesthetic is applied to each injection site to keep you comfortable throughout. Injections are then placed at carefully selected points across the neck to ensure even coverage and distribution of the hyaluronic acid. Each session takes around 15 to 20 minutes. A course of two sessions spaced four weeks apart is recommended, with a review following the final session. Mild redness or swelling may occur but typically settles within 24 hours.
