A brow lift is a non-surgical and non-invasive method of reducing wrinkles in the eye area and lifting sagging or hooded skin above the eyes. By using anti-wrinkle injections to relax the muscles that drag the brows down, this lets the arch float upwards, causing a physical lift of the brows.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A local anaesthetic is first applied to the injection sites on your face. Once you are ready, small quantities of the Anti wrinkle treatment are injected into the forehead between your eyebrows.

SUITABLE FOR

Anti wrinkle is suitable for most people; however, this treatment should be avoided by anyone with muscle problems or nerve damage, or anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding.

SIDE EFFECTS

The common side effects that occur with thread-lifting and anti-wrinkle injections are generally connected with the injections sites and usually resolve themselves within two days. They include:

Swelling
Bruising
Soreness
Temporary skin dimpling
Redness
Pain
Itching
Discolouration

These generally resolve within 2 – 7 days.

AFTERCARE

Massage the face for two weeks.
Avoid direct sunlight and tanning machines.
Avoid alcohol and aspirin, ibuprofen and Advil for seven days before and after treatment.
Avoid blood thinning vitamins A,C and E for seven days.
Avoid physical exercise for seven days.
Avoid heat treatments on the treated areas for 10 weeks.
Avoid temperature extremes.

HOW DOES A BROW LIFT WITH ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS WORK

A brow lift with ant-wrinkle injections involves lifting the position of the eyebrows to create a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance. Botox or similar anti-wrinkle products are injected into specific muscles that pull the eyebrows downward. This can help elevate the brow, creating a subtle lifting effect. The effects typically last for around three to four months, after which the muscles gradually regain their activity, and the brow returns to its original position. To maintain the lifted appearance, repeated Botox injections would be necessary.

I have been to Dr.Emma in the cork clinic for lip fillers a few times now and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else.
