Treatment is carried out across two sessions spaced two weeks apart. A local anaesthetic is applied before each session to ensure comfort. In the first session, small amounts of anti-wrinkle serum are injected around the forehead and brow to relax the muscles that contribute to brow descent. Fine threads are then carefully placed above the eyebrows to create an immediate lifting effect. Each session takes around 30 minutes. Mild swelling, bruising or temporary skin dimpling may occur but typically resolves within a few days.

Post-Treatment Care & Side Effects

Recovery from Silhouette Soft is minimal, but following the aftercare guidance carefully in the weeks after treatment is important to protect your results and support healing. Your doctor will go through everything with you before you leave.

Take paracetamol for any mild discomfort, avoid ibuprofen and aspirin
Avoid applying makeup for at least 24 hours
Sleep face up with your head elevated for 3 to 5 nights
Wash and dry the face gently, no massaging or rubbing for 5 days
Avoid excessive head and neck movements for 2 weeks
Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds for 2 weeks
Avoid sport, particularly running, for 2 weeks
Avoid saunas for 2 weeks
Avoid dental procedures for 3 weeks
Avoid facial massage and other aesthetic treatments for 4 weeks

The Thread Brow Lift is well tolerated by most patients. Side effects are associated with the injection and thread insertion process and typically resolve within a few days.
