A brow lift is a non-surgical and non-invasive method of reducing wrinkles in the eye area and lifting sagging or hooded skin above the eyes. The treatment combines two effective anti-wrinkle treatments – Anti wrinkle injections and thread-lifting treatments – that are administered by our highly experienced medical team.
WHAT TO EXPECT
A local anaesthetic is first applied to the injection sites on your face. Once you are ready, small quantities of the Anti wrinkle serum are injected into the forehead between your eyebrows. Then, approximately two threads are placed above each brow to achieve a lifted appearance. The treatment is delivered over two appointments two weeks apart.
SUITABLE FOR
A complimentary consultation is required to confirm the number of threads that would need to be used to achieve the desired results and to ensure that you are a suitable candidate for the procedure. Thread-lifting treatments are suitable for anyone who wishes to avail of non-invasive cosmetic surgery to combat the signs of ageing.

WHAT IS A BROW LIFT?
A brow lift is a combination of two common procedures, it uses threads and anti-wrinkle injections in order to rejuvenate sagging or hooded brows and furrows between the eyes and across the forehead.
ARE BROW LIFTS
The procedure itself is minimally invasive. As the threads used in the procedure are manufactured using polydioxanone, the same material that is used in sutures, they are a very safe, bio-degradable alternative to invasive open brow-lift surgery.
HOW DOES A BROW LIFT WORK?
The threads are placed under the skin using thin needles. Once in place, the threads are pulled and the skin is tightened and plumped, by barbs, which embed themselves into the subcutaneous layer of your skin. The threads initiate an inflammatory response, which promotes collagen manufacture in the treated areas. This process also improves blood flow to the skin. The result is younger, fresher, brighter appearance in the brow area. Anti-wrinkle injections are also administered to block the nerve impulse to the muscles around the brow area of your face that, over time, cause wrinkles.
The common side effects that occur with thread-lifting and anti-wrinkle injections are generally connected with the injections sites and usually resolve themselves within two days. They include:
These generally resolve within 2 – 7 days.
Massage the face for two weeks
Avoid direct sunlight and tanning machines
Avoid alcohol and aspirin, ibuprofen and Advil for seven days before and after treatment
Avoid blood thinning vitamins A,C and E for seven days

Avoid heat treatments on the treated areas for 10 weeks

Anti-wrinkle injections usually last 3-4 months, while the threads can last 6-9 months, so you may require an anti-wrinkle course in between maintenance treatments depending on how your desired preference.
